Who's Involved Already?
In addition to the SPCAs and Animal Shelters found on our Donate Locally page, we have several cycling clubs, lodging establishments and organizations that are involved. Although the list grows, here are some of the earlier groups:
Cycling Clubs:
West Chester Cycling Club – Based in West Chester, PA, this 500 member club has been a supporter of the Pedaling4Paws event since day one and each of the P4P founders are WCCC members. A large group is expected on Day 1, with some riding the entire first day.
Brandywine Bicycle Club – Based more broadly in Chester County, PA, the BBC are always invited and many WCCC members are also BBC members, so we'll certainly have participation from this club!
Berks County Bicycle Club - Based out of the Reading, PA area, the BCBC are expected to join us for portions through Birdsboro and beyond. They are also expected at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
Southern Tier Bicycle Club - Based in the Binghamton to Cortland area, the STBC has had riders in the last 2 years. We hope to see many Southern Tier riders certainly from the NY/PA border up to at least Syracuse!
Finger Lake Cycling Club - Based in the Skaneateles, NY area, we're hoping to see some FLCC folks join us this year on either the end of Day 3 or the start of Day 4.
Onondaga Cycling Club – Based in and around the Syracuse area. Last year, one of their Board of Directors, Bill Goffe announced the ride on the clubs listserv, so hopefully we’ll catch up with a number of Onondaga riders this year too.If you are an OCC member, please join us!
Jefferson County Cycling Club - Based in the Watertown, NY area, we hope to see some JCCC riders. We think we spotted some last year, but they were headed in the opposite direction, so polite hello's were as far as we got.
Corporations:
Stillman Volvo is on board with Pedaling4Paws and will be supporting the ride with vehicles at select points along the way.
Welch Allyn is hosting a breakfast on 6/25 at their headquarters.
